This video looks at the development and construction in the early 1990's of the "cable-stay" Clark Bridge in Alton, Illinois that was built over the Mississippi River. The program addresses the development program/project, management, design, awarding of contracts, techniques used in scheduling as well as the challenges and difficulties faced and handled during the entire process. Visual graphics illustrate bridge construction, how major glitches were met, and routes taken to repair and complete the project.
